About us

The Mößbauer Technology Centers bundels its key instruments in three competence areas:

• MTC1: Imaging and Detectors
• MTC2: Material Preparation & Characterization
• MTC3: Extreme Conditions

These key instruments are complemented by an accompanying infrastructure connected to the competence areas.

A general infrastructure enhances the operational capacities and capabilities of the MTC, while ensuring cross-fertilization of cutting-edge technical skills, as well as instrumental and methodological know-how including IT, Mechanical workshop, Electronics and Cryo & vaccum technology.
