we are happy to inform you that our next  “BayBioMS Advanced Mass Spectrometry Seminar” will take place next week on Wednesday 29. April 2026 at 5 pm in the iGZW conference room (Gregor-Mendel-Str. 4, 3^rd floor, conference room). Doors will open for free snacks and drinks at 4.45 pm!

In this seminar, you will learn from our two great speakers, Sophia Laposchan and Jan Büllesbach:

• How to detect the post-translational protein modification citrullination
• How to mechanistically investigate the enzymes responsible for citrullination - the protein arginine deiminases (PADs)
• How gas chromatography–based mass spectrometry (GC-MS) can be applied to study pheromones in insects
